Accessibility Statement

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Manasity is for every teacher, owner and student, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA in Arabic and in English.

1. What we built in

  • Everything works with a keyboard: a “Skip to content” link on our website, the sign-in pages, the dashboard and academy websites, a visible focus outline, logical tab order, and menus, dialogs and tabs you can open, move through and close with the keyboard (Escape closes them).
  • Screen readers: real headings and landmarks, labelled buttons and form fields, error messages tied to their fields, and announcements when something changes.
  • Images have text alternatives; decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers.
  • Text and controls meet WCAG contrast (at least 4.5:1 for text), and color is never the only way information is shown.
  • Arabic pages read right to left with native copy; English pages read left to right.
  • Pages work when zoomed to 200% and on small screens without scrolling sideways. Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
  • If you ask your device for less motion, animations and smooth scrolling are turned off.

2. How we test

Every release runs automated accessibility checks (axe, against WCAG 2.2 AA) on all our pages in both languages, on phones, tablets and computers, together with our own checks for layout, touch targets and Arabic text, and keyboard tests of key journeys such as the skip link and the cookie banner.

3. Academy websites

The websites academies build on Manasity use the same accessible building blocks. Each academy writes its own text and chooses its own photos and colors; the website builder warns when colors don’t have enough contrast, and every photo in the media library has a description field.

4. Known limits

Some charts in the dashboard are easier to read visually; their numbers are always also available as text. Videos that academies add come from YouTube or Vimeo, and captions depend on the academy that uploads them.

5. Tell us about a barrier

If something on Manasity is hard or impossible for you to use, tell us at [email protected] or on WhatsApp at +20 102 543 8652. Tell us the page and what happened; we will reply within 5 working days and, where we can, offer the information another way in the meantime.
